Privacy policy

This is Jay Phillips and Lily Dehnad’s personal wedding website. We use the information shared here to organise our wedding and related activities, and to keep in touch with our guests.
Information we collect
We keep the names and contact details used to prepare invitations, the people in each invitation party, wedding attendance, optional activity preferences and your RSVP updates. You may also provide a phone number, dietary requirements, allergies, access or support needs, travel plans and messages. Some invitation details come from our existing contacts or the person organising your party.
How we use it
We use these details to manage invitations and replies, plan numbers, food, seating and activities, and respond to questions. We keep a history of RSVP updates so we can resolve changes. We do not sell guest information or use it for advertising or unrelated marketing.
Optional and sensitive details
Dietary, allergy and access notes are optional and may reveal health or other sensitive information. Please share only what we need to help you attend comfortably. You can tell us privately instead. If you reply for someone else, check their answers with them and make sure they are happy for you to share their details.
Who can see your information
Jay and Lily can access the wedding planning records. We may share relevant details with the venue, caterers or people helping organise the wedding and activities, only where needed—for example, meal numbers and allergy requirements. Anyone with your party’s invitation link or code can view and update that party’s RSVP, including its notes and contact details. Please keep it within your party.
Website providers and security
The website is hosted by Vercel and the database is provided by Supabase. These services process information to operate and protect the site, and may process it outside your country. Hosting logs may include IP addresses, browser details, requested pages and timestamps. Our login protection uses a keyed digest of the network address to limit repeated attempts. Access controls help protect records, but no online service can guarantee complete security.
Cookies and browser storage
We use essential cookies to remember invitation access (up to 120 days) and your language choice (up to one year), plus a separate cookie for organisers’ admin access. Some opening preferences and organiser test replies use temporary browser storage. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear cookies through your browser, but may need to enter your invitation code again.
How long we keep information
We keep wedding planning information for as long as it is needed to organise the wedding, handle changes and finish related follow-up. We will then review it and remove information that is no longer needed, particularly dietary and access notes. Copies in service backups may remain until those backups expire. Archiving a guest in our admin area is not the same as deleting their data.
Your choices and contacting us
You can review and edit your RSVP using your invitation link. To ask about your information, request a copy, correct a name, remove a sensitive note or request deletion, contact Jay or Lily through the message, email or phone number used for your invitation. Depending on the data protection law that applies, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing and to complain to your local data protection authority. We will update this page if our practices change.
